FALL 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

NOTICE OF POSSIBLE RECOUNT

Due to the election results being rather close, Bayfield County is releasing a Notice of a Possible Recount that will occur on Friday, November 20, 2020.  

This date is subject to change.

BAYFIELD COUNTY ELECTION RESULTS

Results will be available here once the votes are counted by municipalities and reported to the Bayfield County Clerk’s Office.  As the County Clerk’s Office receives results, they will be posted on this page, so please check back throughout the evening.  Please view the following link for the Bayfield County Election Spreadsheet.  It will be updated as results come in.

BOARD OF CANVASS

Following the November 3, 2020 election, the Bayfield County Board of Canvass will be meeting to review the election results.  Please review the Notice of the Bayfield County Board of Canvass for more details.

BAYFIELD COUNTY'S ADVISORY REFERENDUM QUESTION

On July 28, 2020 the Bayfield County Board of Supervisors passed Resolution 2020-65 (PDF) regarding the conduction of a countywide advisory referendum on the creation of nonpartisan procedures for the preparation of legislative and congressional redistricting plans and maps.

The non-binding, Advisory Referendum question for the election that will be held on November 3, 2020 reads as follows:

"Should the Wisconsin legislature create a nonpartisan procedure for the preparation of legislative and congressional district plans and maps?"

INFORMATION ON ABSENTEE VOTING

This includes Information about Absentee Voting, such as who to contact and the process.  

Additionally, municipalities have begun obtaining drop boxes where absentee voters may return their ballots.

SAMPLE BALLOT FOR NOVEMBER 3, 2020

All Bayfield County municipalities, except; Cable, Lincoln, and Pilsen have the same ballots for the upcoming election.  Here is the link for a sample ballot (PDF) for a majority of the Bayfield County municipalities.  The townships of Cable, Lincoln, and Pilsen have their own referendum questions which makes their ballots different from the rest of the county.  Below are links to each of the ballots for these three townships.

BAYFIELD COUNTY ELECTION RESULTS

The Wisconsin Election is taking place on Tuesday, April 7th. Due to absentee ballots, all results will be compiled on Monday, April 13th in the evening. As the County Clerk’s Office receives results, they will be posted on this page, so please check back throughout the evening. Please view the following for the Bayfield County Election spreadsheet. It will be updated.

Results will be available here once the votes are counted by municipalities and reported to the Bayfield County Clerk’s Office. The following document will show the results from each municipality and school district. This document will be available after every municipality has reported.
