SPRING GENERAL ELECTION

Reconvene Board of Canvass

The Board of Canvass is scheduled to reconvene at the Bayfield County Clerk's Office on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.  Review the following Board of Canvass Notice (PDF) for more details.

Bayfield County Election Results

Results will be available here once the votes are counted by the municipalities and reported to the Bayfield County Clerk's Office.  As the County Clerk's Office receives the results, they will be posted on this page, so please check back throughout the evening.

Due to the large number of races for this election, the results are split into three documents; State Superintendent of Public Instruction & Judicial Races, Municipal Races, and the School District Races.  Please use the following links to view the election results:

SAMPLE BALLOTS FOR APRIL 6, 2021

Bayfield County is giving Notice of a Spring General Election (PDF) that will be held on April 6, 2021.

For the Spring General Election held on April 6, 2021, each Bayfield County municipality will have their own race.  Therefore, all of the ballots will be different.  Review the links below to find the sample ballot for your municipality.

Keep in mind, both the Towns of Bayfield and Drummond are divided between a sanitary and non-sanitary district.  The Cities of Bayfield and Washburn are divided between different districts and wards.  Each of these municipalities have separate ballots for each district, which are also included in the list below.

SAMPLE BALLOT FOR FEBRUARY 16, 2021

All Bayfield County municipalities, except; Hughes, Iron River, and Oulu have the same ballots for the upcoming election. Here is the link for a sample ballot (PDF) for a majority of the Bayfield County municipalities. The townships of Hughes, Iron River, and Oulu have an additional primary election for a Maple School District School School Board Member at Large. Notice of Election

Bayfield County will be holding a Spring Primary Election on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.  The election will be held to determine the State Superintendent for Public Instruction.  Please review the Type B-Notice: Notice of Spring Primary Election (PDF) for more details.
