What's New in Family Services

Effective july 2022:

Emergency detention, mental health and substance use disorder information and referral services are moving to the Behavioral Health and Community Services Section starting July 2, 2022.

MARY ANICH NEW FAMILY SERVICES MANAGER

Washburn, WI, Release: March 12, 2021

Mary Anich has been hired as the Family Services Manager in the Bayfield County Department of Human Services.

Mary was raised in Ashland. Mary is a certified Social Worker who previously worked with children and families for 26 years at Waupaca County Department of Health and Human Services. Mary returned to Northern Wisconsin in 2016 and has worked for Bayfield County Department of Human Services (DHS) as a Juvenile Intake Worker for the last five years.

Bayfield County DHS is looking forward to continuing to provide quality services to individuals, children, and families in our communities under Mary’s direction. Mary begins her new position on March 15, 2021.
