    The Washburn School District's Annual Student Art Show returns to the Washburn Cultural Center’s galleries this month from May 4–24! Stop by to see this popular yearly exhibition of works created by elementary, middle, and high school artists over the past year. This year's show includes over one hundred paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures, photographs, and mixed media works. Click here to view a virtual exhibition of this show.   3. CAMBA 2021 Women's Mountain Bike Weekend North

    Join us for the second annual CAMBA Mt. Ashwabay Women's Mountain Bike Weekend. All skill levels are welcome. Beginning riders will learn basic skills for singletrack riding, while advanced riders will expand their skills on the extensive and challenging Mt. Ashwabay trails. Everyone will have an opportunity to gain confidence and have a great time with a group of women who loving riding. Instruction provided by regional certified coaches experienced in coaching beginner to advanced riders. Live it up on the sweet trails with food, swag, and fun.

    Planning AHEAD (Advance directives, Home finances, Estate planning, and Arriving at Decisions for the end of this life) was created to address most aspects of end-of-life planning. There are a total of 7 modules examining health care wishes, financial responsibilities, legal requirements and documentation, distribution of personal property, end-of-life decisions, dealing with grief, and the emotional ramifications of all of the above. The program is designed both for those who want to prepare for their own passing, to make things easier for family members and for those who have lost, or are in the process of losing, a loved one and are dealing with the transition.
