Plus, from Hauser's own greenhouses, annuals, vegetables, herbs, and beautiful hanging baskets are available. Looking for berry plants, apple/pear trees; soils; and other garden supplies?     The Washburn School District's Annual Student Art Show returns to the Washburn Cultural Center’s galleries this month from May 4–24! Stop by to see this popular yearly exhibition of works created by elementary, middle, and high school artists over the past year. This year's show includes over one hundred paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculptures, photographs, and mixed media works. Click here to view a virtual exhibition of this show.     Enjoy a month-long tasting of the Washburn Area eateries. From Mon. May 10th - Mon. June 7 take the time to dine from the signature menus that make up Washburn’s renowned eateries. Pick up a “passport” when you Eat. Drink. Washburn. *Please note the times on this event do not reflect the times you can dine! Facebook is being Facebook. You can use the passports at any time the establishment is open! Spend a minimum of $10.00 at any of the participating eateries to have your “passport” stamped. A 3 stamp minimum will qualify a person to be entered in the raffle to win a $50.00 gift certificate to the eatery of the winners choice. Passports must be submitted to the Washburn Chamber Office (100 W Bayfield St.) no later than Friday, June 11th to be entered in the raffle.

    Practicing the Pause is a weekly, 30-minute virtual space to practice a variety of techniques to calm your mind and body, decrease stress, and increase self-awareness and resiliency. We'll practice holding space while also practicing skills such as deep breathing, guided imagery, gentle stretching, and more. Feel free to join us when you are able.
