The Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association is honored to take over the reigns for one of the midwest’s most iconic mountain bike endurance races, the Chequamagon 100. The Cheq 100 was the first endurance event to be held on the great CAMBA trail system. Based on a self-supported ethos that has gained popularity with other events, the Chequamegon 100 will continue the tradition of self-reliance that requires riders to find enough determination and grit to finish the course with minimal assistance. Participants can now choose one of 3 distance options to match their personal endurance goals; approximately one hundred, sixty-five or thirty miles of sweet northern Wisconsin dirt, with the great majority of each distance being on singletrack. Participants can expect improved course markings this year along with a few other changes.
If gliding along smooth pavement through scenic woodlands offering breathtaking views of Lake Superior sounds like your idea of skating heaven, the Apostle Islands Inline is the perfect event for you.
This unique inline race has something for every skating enthusiast and skill level, including a full marathon, a little more than a half marathon and fun race. The 8.7-mile looped course features a combination of flats, curves, straightaways and two hairpin turns.
