From painters, jewelers, potters, sculptors to woodworkers and performers, Bayfield’s high quality art scene is worth celebrating. The first ever “Art Escape” is a nine day celebration of all things art across Bayfield County and Madeline Island. Area artists will be able to feature their art at a time and date chosen by the artists September 10-18, 2022. This is a prime opportunity to showcase your art via live demos, art classes, open houses and be included in the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau Art Escape directory.

The Freshwater Paddlers Rendezvous is an event intended to enhance your paddling skills through a variety of venues around the Bayfield Peninsula. Utilizing the warm waters of the late season, we'll challenge our skills and prime the pump for the upcoming storm season or solidify our technique prior to heading into winter. With coaches and participants at all stages in their paddling journey, we'll tap into the collective stoke of the paddling community to connect, learn and explore the backyard treasures of Lake Superior. We intend to promote a positive paddling experience and look forward to connecting with you this September to thrive on the fresh waters of the South Shore.
